Bulletin: as of January 9, 2022, I no longer intend to post on this site, but I will leave the archived posts intact here for the foreseeable future. Two simple facts led to this decision: (1) My books have not sold well, indicating that people didn’t/don’t want to read what I have to offer, and (2) there has been very little discussion on this site by those involved in assembly and worship leadership and planning.
So, while it no longer seems likely that I can contribute much in this sphere per se, I will from time to time continue to touch on assembly- and worship-related topics on my primary blog, Earnestly Speaking. In fact, there are more related posts on that site than here—for instance, in these categories:
My heart and thoughts will continue to move more in the direction of organic, home church settings. I still believe that any gathering of Christians is significant.
This site was established in order to dialogue about topics from the books The Christian Assembly and Christian Worship, published by Dr. Brian Casey in June 2016. Revised 2nd printings were made available in early 2017.
My primary blog, Earnestly Speaking, will remain active, as will another blog that follows topics related to my book Subjects of the Kingdom.
